Terrific interview!
Debbie's Levi's story reminds me of something that happened a few years ago with my daughter, when she was 4 years old. We were walking down the street and a stray shopping bag was lying on the sidewalk across the street. She said, "Look, a Macy's bag." She new what it was from the logo; she didn't need to see "Macy's" written on it.
That moment always reminds me of the power of design, branding, and the intersection of the two.

Thanks, Erik! Great interview. Loved her lime green corduroys story :) but I also really appreciated the comments on the relevance of cultural anthropology and psychology and the complexity of public space. Made my Monday!

Merci- Joanne
