I heard someone say once - a single, self-centered guy in his twenties -that the greatest day of his life was and always will be the day the Red Sox won the World Series. Having two children myself, it was pathetically obvious to me how narrow and anemic his life experiences to date must have been....

The birth of a child, although quite commonplace, is nevertheless miraculous and changes everything. Congratulations!
